Right Hand Collective

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. About this policy

JAMB NO1 Pty Ltd (ABN 77 688 674 311) trading as RightHand Collective (RHC, we, us or our) is a fractional executive consulting practice based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We provide CFO, COO, governance and advisory services to not-for-profit and small-to-medium business clients.

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This policy applies to our website at righthandcollective.com.au and to personal information we collect in the course of running our business.

2. What personal information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, book a call or engage us, we may collect your name, organisation, role, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to tell us about your enquiry.

Information we receive while working for clients. Our work often involves access to a client's business records, which may include personal information about directors, staff, volunteers, members or customers. We use that information only to deliver the agreed services, and we handle it in line with this policy and the confidentiality terms of our engagement.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our tools automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location (city or region), pages viewed, time on site, the site or ad that referred you, and cookie or advertising identifiers. On its own this information generally does not tell us who you are.

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information) through our website. If you choose to share it with us, we will only use it for the purpose you provided it.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you where we can: through our website contact or booking forms, by email and phone, in meetings, and through professional networks such as LinkedIn. Sometimes we receive it from a third party, such as a referrer or a client organisation you are connected to.

Technical information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 5.

4. Why we collect and use it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange consultations
  • deliver, manage and invoice our services
  • keep in touch about our services, insights and events (you can opt out at any time)
  • understand how people use our website so we can improve it
  • measure the performance of our online advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site
  • meet our legal, tax and professional obligations

We only use personal information for these purposes, for a related purpose you would reasonably expect, or where you have agreed or the law allows it.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use them, along with similar technologies such as tags and pixels, to make our site work, to understand how it is used, and to support our advertising. We use the following services:

  • Google Tag Manager — manages the tags on our site. It does not collect personal information itself but enables the tools below.
  • Google Analytics 4 — tells us how visitors find and use our site (for example, pages visited, time on site and traffic sources). Reports are provided to us in aggregate form. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking — tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to take an action on our site, such as submitting an enquiry.
  • Google Ads remarketing — allows Google to show our ads to people who have previously visited our site, when they visit other websites or use Google services. Google uses cookies to serve these ads based on past visits to our site.
  • Google Ads call tracking — tells us when someone calls our phone number from one of our ads or from our website. Google may show a Google forwarding number in place of our number so it can record call details such as date, time, duration and the caller's area code. Calls are not recorded or listened to.
  • Google Signals — a Google Analytics feature that is switched on for our site. If you are signed in to your Google account and have allowed ad personalisation, Google can link your visits across your devices to that account. We only see this as combined, anonymous reports (for example, how many people visit on both phone and computer), never who you are.

Information collected by these tools is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside Australia. You can read how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

We do not deliberately send information that identifies you (such as your name or email address) to Google through these tools.

Your choices. You can control cookies in several ways:

  • set your browser to block or delete cookies (some parts of the site may not work as intended)
  • opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
  • turn off personalised ads from Google, which also stops Google Signals linking your visits to your account, through My Ad Center
  • opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info

6. Marketing communications

We will only send you marketing emails or messages where you have agreed to receive them or would reasonably expect them (for example, as an existing client). Every marketing email includes a simple way to unsubscribe, or you can contact us and we will remove you. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and document storage, accounting and practice software, scheduling tools, IT support and advertising services. These providers are only permitted to use the information to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose personal information to our professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants), where you have consented, or where required or authorised by law (for example, in response to a court order or regulator request). If our business is sold or restructured, personal information may be transferred to the new owner on a confidential basis.

8. Overseas storage and disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. This includes Google (for analytics and advertising) and may include providers of website hosting, email and cloud software, whose servers may be located in countries such as the United States.

We take reasonable steps to choose reputable providers with appropriate security and privacy safeguards.

9. How we protect and keep your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. These include secure (encrypted) website connections, password-protected systems with multi-factor authentication where available, and limiting access to people who need it. We do not collect or store payment card details through our website.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as required by law (for example, business and tax records are generally kept for at least five years). After that, we securely destroy or de-identify it.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will act promptly to contain it and will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required.

10. Automated decisions and AI tools

We do not use computer programs to make decisions about individuals that could significantly affect their rights or interests. We may use reputable software, including AI-assisted tools, to help us research, analyse and prepare work, but any advice or decisions are reviewed and made by people.

11. Dealing with us anonymously

You can browse our website without telling us who you are. If you make a general enquiry, you may use a pseudonym or remain anonymous, although we will usually need your name and contact details to respond or provide services.

12. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and in limited cases the law allows us to decline access; if so, we will explain why.

13. Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first. We will acknowledge your complaint within five business days and aim to respond in full within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 992 or at www.oaic.gov.au.

14. Links to other websites

Our website may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn or booking platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in the tools we use. The current version will always be available on our website, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
